Two men in Pithoragarh have been booked after a video surfaced on social media showing them chasing a porcupine to death. The forest department took action following a complaint from PETA.
Fadnavis said preliminary reports made available to him stated that the tigress was shot after she attacked the forest staff trying to tranquilise her.
